The quick answer
Open Inventory, select the weapon, choose More Actions and then Repair. Repairs consume materials; the required resources depend on the weapon.

Find the repair action
The official sequence is Inventory → weapon → More Actions → Repair. Inspect the requested resources for that weapon before confirming. There is no single material list that this guide can safely apply to every gun.
Repair, upgrade or change a mod?
These solve different problems. Repair addresses condition: Embark says weapons degrade through use and can eventually break. Attachments change how a weapon performs. A different attachment is not a substitute for checking the weapon’s condition.
Our suggested pre-raid habit is to inspect condition before organizing ammunition and utilities. That gives you time to decide whether to repair this weapon or choose another one for the trip.
If the repair cannot be completed
Compare the materials shown by the repair action with your available resources. Record the weapon and what the interface reports before looking for a fix. A generic recipe copied from a different gun is a poor diagnostic starting point.
Check the repair prompt for the materials and cost of your current weapon before confirming.
