The quick answer
Android and iOS have hidden experimental co-op, excluding Stardew Valley+ on Apple Arcade. Enable the title-screen menu, then join using the host’s IP address.

Unlock the hidden menu
On the title screen, tap the corner leaves in this sequence: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right. Tap ?, then exit that menu. The Co-op button should appear.
Join a farm
Open Co-op and choose Join, then enter the host’s IP address. There is no mobile farm-discovery list. A PC-hosted farm on the same local Wi-Fi is the developer’s recommended setup; hosting requires available cabins.
Check these before retrying
- Match game versions; the title-screen ? menu shows the version.
- Use the same local network for the simplest setup. Internet hosting requires the host’s UDP port 24642 to be forwarded.
- On iOS, allow local-network access. The first connection can fail immediately after granting permission; try again.
- Back up an important farm before using this experimental feature.
Keep the test simple
Start with one guest and a disposable test farm. That is our troubleshooting recommendation: it separates basic connectivity from issues unique to a valued save. Only add more players or change networks after the simplest case works.
Apple Arcade’s Stardew Valley+ is excluded. Buying or linking an unrelated account will not reveal a supported co-op menu in that edition.
