The quick answer
The 1.0 Delivery Cannon checks a complete resource bundle at once and lets you queue several deliveries before launching them. Ordinary milestones, neighbor missions and Prometheus Research Deliveries unlock different rewards.

Read the complete request before farming
Use the Delivery Cannon’s main screen to inspect the current requests. In 1.0, the separate planet view is gone: information and delivery actions are brought together on the main screen. Requirements were also rebalanced, with fewer deliveries needed overall, so an older milestone shopping list can send you toward unnecessary production.
For one request, write down every required input and identify the least available one. Separate goods you can harvest now, goods that need processing, and goods whose source or recipe you still need to unlock. This separates a missing stockpile from a progression block.
Do not reserve all of a crop for a delivery if that leaves you unable to maintain its production chain. Plan the next cycle alongside the current request. The relevant question is whether the farm can repeat the process after sending its goods.
Use the delivery queue
The updated menu checks whether you have the complete required bundle, similarly to crafting. You no longer contribute every resource individually to fill a request over many separate interactions.
- Select a request whose complete resource bundle you can supply.
- Review the request on the main screen and add the delivery to the queue.
- Add other deliveries you are ready to send.
- Choose to launch the queued deliveries together in one sequence.
- Reopen progression and check newly available rewards before committing to the next farming project.
Batching removes repeated cannon sequences; it does not make an incomplete resource bundle complete. If an action is unavailable, compare the full request against the resources the game currently recognizes.
Choose the next job by its bottleneck
| What is missing? | Productive next step | Expansion to postpone |
|---|---|---|
| An ordinary crop | Organize a repeatable planting and harvesting cycle | Extra processing for an unrelated material |
| A mutated crop | Check the seed/mound preview and prepare the required soil | Blindly repeating a normal planting |
| A processed ingredient | Trace its recipe inputs and the crafting Construct | More raw harvest than existing storage can hold |
| A resource you cannot locate | Map Resource Scanner and a marked collection trip | A large new field that does not supply that resource |
| A locked recipe or feature | Identify the relevant milestone, neighbor mission or research reward | Repeating deliveries based on an old unlock chart |
This table is a way to choose a project, not a fixed list of recipe requirements. The current request remains the source of truth for the exact goods needed in your save.
Three unlock paths worth checking
Milestones: the general progression ladder unlocks Constructs, upgrades and other capabilities. In 1.0, automation starts at Milestone 4 and the ladder includes Milestones 13 and 14. Unlocks throughout the ladder have moved, so reaching an old number does not necessarily grant the old reward.
Neighbor missions: Ulf and Diane have additional storyline rewards. Ulf’s questline supplies the improved Seed Splicers and Giant Tree Sprouts; Diane’s unlocks animal breeding. Check the active neighbor mission when one of these systems is missing.
Prometheus Research Deliveries: these offer blueprints for special mech Mods. They replace the older shared Research Initiative structure. You can complete the requests alone, without waiting for other players to contribute or for another scheduled initiative to open.
What starts the ending?
Bring all colonies to Thriving to start the ending missions. Completing a particular new milestone alone is not the stated story trigger. If you have reached late-game equipment but the final mission has not appeared, inspect each colony’s progress and its remaining requests.
The story can be finished without losing access to your farm afterward: continuing play remains available. Late-game projects can therefore be chosen for the goods they unlock, for colony progress or simply for how you want to build.
When a reward seems to be missing
First compare the reward to the correct progression path. Then check the exact game build. The November 6 hotfix fixes recipes unlocking in the wrong order, so update before attempting to solve a missing recipe by restarting a world.
Use the automation guide when a request is blocked by manufacturing, and the upgrade guide when fieldwork or hauling consumes the entire session.
