Stardew Valley Community Center guide: a seasonal bundle plan

Open the Community Center, save seasonal crops and forage, plan the Quality Crops Bundle and avoid common year-one completion bottlenecks.

Coverage: 1.6 · unmodded · standard bundles

The quick answer

Use separate bundle storage, preserve seasonal items before selling them, and plan the Pantry around all four seasons. This checklist covers standard bundles; remixed bundles can require different items.

Open the Community Center before hunting donations

On a non-rainy day from Spring 5 onward, enter Pelican Town from the Bus Stop between 8am and 1pm to trigger the introductory scene. Inspect the unreadable scroll inside the Community Center. The Wizard’s letter arrives the next morning; visit his tower to gain the ability to read the bundle text.

If the introduction has not played, check the approach, weather and time before assuming your save is broken. Visiting the building through a different route is not the same trigger. Once bundles are active, use the in-game bundle display as the final check for your save’s requirements.

This guide uses standard bundles. Selecting remixed bundles when creating a farm changes some requirements. Joining Joja is also a different progression route: buying its 5,000g membership converts the building into a warehouse, so make that choice deliberately.

Store donations by season, not by selling price

Season Standard forage set Standard crop set Extra item to plan around
Spring Wild Horseradish, Daffodil, Leek, Dandelion Parsnip, Green Bean, Cauliflower, Potato Five gold-quality Parsnips if using that Quality Crops slot
Summer Grape, Spice Berry, Sweet Pea Tomato, Hot Pepper, Blueberry, Melon Five gold-quality Melons; check Red Cabbage access
Fall Common Mushroom, Wild Plum, Hazelnut, Blackberry Corn, Eggplant, Pumpkin, Yam Five gold-quality Pumpkins or Corn
Winter Winter Root, Crystal Fruit, Snow Yam, Crocus No standard Winter Crops Bundle Finish winter forage and any seasonal fish you missed

The seasonal crop bundles use one of each listed crop. Put the first usable item into a donation chest; then sell or process surplus without accidentally losing the last copy. Most ordinary bundle slots do not ask for gold quality. Save high-quality stacks specifically for the bundles that require them.

Do not wait until the final week to buy Green Beans or Cauliflower. A packet of seeds does not satisfy the crop donation, and an out-of-season crop may no longer have time to grow. The planting-date calculator checks several common crops against day 28.

Quality Crops needs three choices, not all four

The standard Quality Crops Bundle offers four possible stacks: five gold-quality Parsnips, Melons, Pumpkins or Corn. You need three of those four stacks. Higher qualifying quality is accepted, but ordinary produce cannot replace a gold-quality requirement.

This gives you a recovery route if spring quality was poor. Missing five gold Parsnips does not by itself ruin the bundle; you can use the other three options. Corn grows across summer and fall, providing a longer collection period than a single-season crop. Keep complete qualifying stacks apart from the single regular crop donation so that you do not spend the same items twice in your plan.

Use room rewards to choose the next project

The Pantry repairs the Greenhouse. That makes its crop, animal and artisan requirements a practical farm-development route rather than a checklist of unrelated objects. The Animal Bundle asks for five of six offered items, so inspect your choices before building every possible animal facility. The Artisan Bundle similarly accepts a subset of its options.

The Crafts Room repairs access to the Quarry. Alongside the four seasonal forage bundles, its Construction Bundle requires two separate stacks of 99 Wood, 99 Stone and 10 Hardwood. Treat the wood as 198 total, not one stack counted twice.

The Vault’s four payments are 2,500g, 5,000g, 10,000g and 25,000g: 42,500g altogether. Its reward repairs the bus. Set that money aside only when it does not interrupt essential seasonal purchases; cash can be earned later, but a missed seasonal crop may delay a whole room.

Watch the year-one bottlenecks

Red Cabbage is an important year-one constraint. Pierre’s normal seed availability begins in Year 2. Traveling Cart stock provides an earlier route, but an ordinary save should not assume a specific random visit will supply it. The advanced option for guaranteed year-one completion guarantees the relevant seed opportunity; it does not finish every other bundle for you.

Fish can be constrained by season, time, weather and location together. Keeping only a vague note such as “catch the rainy fish” is not enough. Use the targeted fish schedule and store the first eligible catch rather than relying on the next rain day.

Animal goods require more than buying an animal. Housing upgrades, feeding, maturity and friendship-dependent product quality can all affect the result. Build that branch early enough to develop it; the animal guide separates building costs from daily care.

After the final donation

The completion ceremony needs an eligible sunny day and can be displaced by festivals. A completed bundle screen and an unplayed ceremony are different states; check the calendar before troubleshooting.

Completing the Community Center is also part of the route to Willy’s repaired boat. Keep Hardwood, Iridium Bars and Battery Packs if Ginger Island is your next goal. The boat and island route starts with the exact repair shopping list.
